A two part, five day workshop exploring soul-wise holistic skincare including new technique and insights into the relationship between the skin and the soul of the client and therapist.
The skin protects and reveals our inner soul-life – mediating between individual, the environment and other people.
The everyday challenge of the “blush” is an intimate reminder of how our soul-life is connected to our skin. The life of the soul is multi-layered, from the depths of our physical being to the heights of our spirituality. Of our body’s working we are unconscious except when discomfort and pain draws attention through illness, such as eczema or psoriasis.
From our highest self come intuitions that can illuminate like lightning in the dark. In between is our everyday consciousness of feeling and thinking.
The soul and skin deeply inter-penetrate, so the soul can be healed through the skin, and the skin can be healed through the soul. Integrative care enlightens, deepens and enriches, allowing the skincare therapist to awaken to their clients’ soul processes.
At Elysia (1994-2013) Elizabeth King and Sebastian Parsons applied their knowledge of skincare and anthroposophy to understand Dr.Hauschka skincare in new ways that changed how the brand was promoted and taught worldwide.
Their “Skin & The Soul Within” makes the fruits of their further research into natural skincare and the soul available to the broad holistic skincare community.
Skin & The Soul Within training is independent of any skincare product line and is for natural skin care therapists who want to develop their practice.
