I know we said it would be a pupdate this week but **STOP PRESS** we have been shortlisted for not one but TWO awards in the Sustainable Beauty Awards 2020 and we are very excited about it. The awards are run by Ecovia Intelligence, a specialist research, consulting & training firm that focuses on global ethical product industries.
To begin the wonderful Martina Gebhardt ISATIS tooth powder. It’s a teeth cleaner and mouthwash in one. It has been shortlisted in the category of New Sustainable Product.
We are honoured to be in good company next to @Davines @faithinature_uk @pegada_verda @martinagebhardtuk finalists in the @ecoviaintelligence #sustainablebeautyawards2020
This two in one product, toothpowder and mouthwash is the heart of ISATIS dental. A new type of dental and oral hygiene care concept presented at Martina Gebhardt natural cosmetics at BIOFACH / VIVANESS.
Of the Name-giving active ingredients, ISATIS is an old, traditional medicinal herb and is grown in the in-house Demeter-certified monastery garden. Dental care yesterday and today.
Dental care is arguably the oldest form of health and beauty care. Even the Neanderthals used willow sticks for disinfection and for cleaning the teeth. From ancient Babylonians, there are recipes for tooth powders and pastes with medicinal plants, ash and coal!
– High-quality opal glass bottles, jars.

The second award we are excited to share with you is that our founder Sebastian has been shortlisted for the award of Sustainability Pioneer.
Honoured to be in good company next to @clariant_international @lmrnaturals @terracycleuk.
Sebastian envisions for Liv a company that is sustainable and reduces inequality and ensures sustainability. This can be achieved by a ‘Community Benefit Society’. A business that is run for the benefit of the wider community, and reinvests profits into that community. In 2012 Stockwood Community Benefit Society was set up and provides all involved with a sustainable future.
Liv’s vision is to source beautifully created ethically made skincare. Liv partners with Martina Gebhardt Skincare a natural biodynamic Demeter skincare cosmetic of more than 30 years of incorporating similar principles.
Stockwood Community Benefit Society is a successful community owned property and land trust that owns a rural business park and 150 acres of farmland half way between Worcester and Stratford-upon-Avon. We have 27 units and around 100 people work on site. We have a 3-year track record of being 100% let in a rural area. Working on these principals;
a) Lifespan of farm animals; sheep is 96 -120 months/ cows 216 months – demonstrating better care for animals and environment.
b) 86% of heating covered by own energy source.
c) sustainable income with investors receiving a 5% return on their investment.
We are working with partners to deliver land based education that is proven to help children challenged by mainstream education adjust and thrive. We also offer bushcraft training and aim to open a Steiner early years provision on the farm.
a) individuals who visit are inspired to further improve their garden for wildlife.
b) offering ethical organisations for employment.
c) caring for the countryside has a value not just in the immediate gain one can get from the economic activities done on the land but as a more considerable impact on the ecosystem and on who we are balanced in it.
Sebastian’s grandfather, David Clement, was a pioneer of Britain’s organic movement. The Parsons’ family are securing Rush Farm’s sustainable future. Understanding of the land Sebastian became directly involved with Wala and became the distributor of Dr. Hausckha in the UK during the 1990s and into the 2000s. He took Dr Hauschka from an unknown brand in the UK to market leader. He is committed to continuing this passion with Martina Gebhardt.
